Motorcycle Safety

We have had some great weather this summer. Nice weather can only mean one thing–more motorcycles on the road. It is no surprise that motorcycle accidents are at an all time high during the warmest months of the year. Before you hit the ground running, it’s time to review the safe driving tips below:

Always Wear A Helmet

Whenever you operate a motorcycle, you should wear a helmet. In the event of an accident or collision, a helmet will protect against head injuries.

Suit Up

The clothing you wear while driving a motorcycle can also protect you from bodily harm. Wearing brightly colored clothing will help other motorists see you.

Don’t Drink & Drive

Motorcyclists should never drink and drive. It puts both the motorcyclist and other motorists on the road at risk. If you are intoxicated, ask a friend for a ride home or call a taxi.
